I don't think you have any reason to tell him about getting boners while you are peeing. But if using a stall to pee makes you feel better, just go ahead and use it. I bet he would understand about getting boners since he is a guy and gets lots of them too.

well the problem with boners is its hard to piss like that and if it happens every time it's cause he's nervous and that makes it even worse

I had this problem before puberty. First time at summer camp there was 3 of us walking to the bathroom and i go to a stall and one of them asks why. I just said i had to go #2. You can get away with this once or twice with the same guy

I wouldn't mention you get hard. That will just be more awkward. But yeah friends will give u a hard time. In my case living in small town we'd go in the woods and i would like want to run back to the house to piss, not good. But if its just urinals you can either laugh it off hope they leave you alone or admit you can't piss in public. Told my friend this and when at his house he had us both use the toilet together...till i got used to it. Yeah eventually you WILL be able to go. So maybe get some help like that

Ur taking this in another direction-I don't know
if it was just being shy peeing at the urinal or like
u say getting a boner and not being able to pee.
Again if u don't want to use the urinal then go use
the stall if u r alone- but if u go with a friend then
to avoid any questions u use the urinal the best way
u can without saying anything. Men have all kinds of
issues in using boys rooms so whatever happens one
should know they r not alone and need not to explain.
If u cant use a urinal with a friend then go together in
the stall but a lot more questions might surface.
