Whats your favorite running shoes brand and why?
I have been using shoes only from Salomon for the last few years cos of the quicklace features, nice fit and comfort. I also love the grip the soles offer but they seem to wear out pretty fast if I am not careful.

I have a pair of Asics which aren't that high spec (sorta mid range-ish), which work brilliantly. I've put a lot of kms on them both running and walking. They're my running shoes but I just find myself using them sometimes for your usual walking stuff.
They're really comfortable to me:

Saucony
Heard that they make some pretty good trail shoes that offers insane traction. Might try it in the future.

Asics all the way. They last longer too so mum insists that is what I get.

For running, the only ride I'll use is New Balance 993. I have really small feet, us 7, so I have a hard time finding shoes that fit well. These shoes fit well and last a long time. I can get 500 miles out of them before I feel like they need to be replaced

I used to be in track, and I wore Asics and Nike. Adidas was good too.

Brooks. Trust me! Brooks. But are you only looking for trail? Idk as much about that. Have heard brooks is making better trail shoes now but I don't really wear trail shoes

really? I was trying out new balance but they were very wide near my toes. The shoe felt pretty boxy too. Guess it must be the style.
yea, 993's have a fairly wide toe box, but I like it that way

I really like Nike but at the moment I have some shoes by Fila that are super comfortable and easy to run in.
I cant stand it, I need my shoes to be at least one size too small.
Wouldn't that cause blisters though?

up: Not really, I like my shoes tight and they work fine.
my first post: Fila was the brand im talking about!
Oh nice! When I was a cheerleader I had Nike and they were good for that... had the right amount of grip I needed. I think Fila would have been better though, I didn't like the bulkiness of the Nike but I was jumping and whatnot so yeah, they did provide good support. But the Filas I have now are more flexible and light-weight, win-win.

I hear You, normally I like shoes that are a bit snug. When I tried that with my running shoe, my toes were to squished and my toe nails rubber my toes, causing them to bleed. I was a little freeked out to se bloody socks when I took off my sboes
