Well he may be mixed up and be trying to deal with being Bi or Gay and just wrestling with himself over his feelings. A lot of gay or bi people don't want to accept what they are out of fear of ridicule or how their family will handle things. If you like him then just keep trying to be a friend and be there for him and try understand what he may be going through. Also most guys are very curious at times. Give it time and see how it goes.
