Does a muslim boy has to be shaved?

one more thing.. last week I heard that most muslims shave their armpits and pubic hair... something from Quran I guess. Is it true? If there are any muslims here, do u shave? Or if u have a muslim friend do u know if he shaves there? :what:

I think that Muslims just like Jewish people circumcise their boys but I don't believe that they require to have there pubic or arm pit hair shaved. I think that would be an option of choice just like the rest of us.

It is true. Also trimming the nails is included. To be specific shavjng or traditionially plucking the pubic and armpit hair for cleanliness.

None of my (Muslim) friends actually shave anywhere, but then again most of them aren't very religious.

yes it does.. i am muslim.. my pubic hair started two years ago and i've shaved in routine..

for religious reason of course. there is five duties about cleanliness which it said by our prophet. it was circumcision, shaving pubic hair, cut the nail, repeal the armpit hair and shave the mustache
