Unusual Behaviour

Hello everybody! Recently my laptop has been showing a ''unknown wired connection'' beside my wifi connection. But I only have WiFi :what:
Today my antivirus (avast free) blocked a malicious url, it was an ip address. I typed in the ip and it blocked it. What could this mean, is somebody trying to hack my pc?

The firsrt three digits won't help much. If you feel as if someone is attempting to access you pc use a firewall such as ZoneAlarm.

Yeah check the firewall on windows and block the ip address you are trying to access

I found out what the wired connection is, it's virtual box host-only network.
