You can't do nothing about them. I would think once you get use to other people in the shower area with you, you might not get them as often anymore unless it someone that really turns you on.

If you're as nervous about it as you say, it won't happen. If you really feel like one is coming, you could always try tucking it in between your legs, cutting off the blood flow. In theory it should work, but I doubt anyone would care if you got one.

Wear a swimsuit/skip the showers/shower at home. Ur only options. Personally I'd NEVER use a comm shower
