If you do a google search on it it'll explain some basic causes of this ranging from where you are in puberty to medical conditions. I'd read up and maybe talk to your dr about it. Could be diet stress or what ever. Could be something for a dr to check out.

Did you start doing anything differently around the time this happened? In particular have you started spending longer masturbating, and edging in particular? I find if I do that for a long time the cum is definitely thinner than for a quickie. If not that, anything else? Doing it more often?

And just to check, you do mean "as it is ejaculated"? If you leave it in a container or on a hard surface it will naturally become thin. This is all part of a enzyme-driven mechanism: one enzyme thickens it on ejaculation, the other thins it again later. It has been suggested the initial thickening is to make it stick inside the girl and avoid it running out again until her vagina has closed up again, after that it thins to let the sperm swim free.

If it worries you, talk to your GP. It is most probably due to diet,as that has a massive effect on sperm production (try drinking a lot of water each day, as this increases sperm volume and should decrease the watery nature). Make sure to wear loose underwear, or no underwear at all, so that the sperm are not overheated, as they denature at high temps!

It could have something to do with your diet, I have read where what you eat can have an effect on the consistency of your ejaculate as well as its odor and taste. Might want to google that.
