I'm having trouble talking to a girl that I like. To be specific, I'm avoiding eye contact with her and I start sweating a bit when I try to talk to her. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

Okay. I'll try to move the thread or just re-create it in that section.

Well I would say that you are a bit shy and not sure of yourself. I don't know what advice to give you other than to tell you that you some how need to build up your self confidence. You will so way have to make it to the point that you can talk to her and get to know her and see how she reacts to you. I think you can do it man. Just believe in yourself and you will do fine.

You obviously lack self confidence. I would suggest start saying hi every now and then just to see how she reacts to you and to act as a stepping stone for your confidence building. Then start making conversation with her. see how that goes and then carry on from there to the point where you get her number or ask if she want to do something over the weekend.

I guess a lot of it is just having confidence in yourself. Girls far prefer boys who don't get nervous around them and can just be themselves. It's hard really to explain how to calm yourself down as it's something that;s got to come from within you so to speak but try and take a few deep calming breaths before approaching her and try and be as casual as you can. Girls aren't looking for some absolutely perfect acting boy that never puts a foot wrong, we want someone we can talk to, have a laugh with and feel that we can open up to. We don't want someone who is always feared of saying the wrong thing or doing the wrong thing.

Good luck xx
