Soooo ya knowww.... I've noticed that when I wear a new pair of boxer briefs they fit me :) . It's not a bit stretched or lose and I like that. After wearing it for a while though I realize it gets a bit loose, like the leg hole and stuff.

my question is, does this happen to anyone else because I don't like how it gets a bit loose. Is there a way to prevent it? :whoops::P:rolleyes:

Heheh, I feel weird and awkward now as I am slowly typing this. :(

I wear Hanes boxer briefs :D:cool:;)

Not really noticed that. Check if they have lycra in the fabric. If so be careful how they are laundered. Tumble drying in particular can make lycra loose its elasticity.

I don't like it when the legs cut off blood flow lol. That's why I prefer boxers i guess. Or going commando (when appropriate, not at school). Just try different brands i guess until you find the one you like best.

less expensive underwear stretches after several washings, not much you can do. briefs aren't as noticeable i guess because they don't go down your legs. friends that wear boxer briefs all have the same problem like you

It's just the material.. I have some that it's happens with.. But it's the same with my jeans then I wash them and they get smaller again.

Once they r washed a few times they might
shrink a bit and then they will fit better. As u
wear them all day they tend to stretch out.

I wear Hanes Boxer Briefs too. The same thing happens to me. When they are washed they get back to a more normal size. As time goes on and I wear them a lot they do get looser and baggy leg holes.

Yeah that'll happen, it gets worn out after being worn for a while. Perhaps try something tighter, like briefs? Or if it really bothers you, just buy more boxer briefs.

I think (maybe) if they contain elastase/lycra and not 100% cotton, then they may shrink down more until you wear them. When you wear them your body will make them fill out to a particular shape (I think)

It could be wear over time each time they get washed

I have the exact same problem. the funny thing is it seems to vary with the color of the boxerbriefs, maybe it's something in the dyeing process. I have black and gray AE boxerbriefs and they stay pretty snug, but the yellow and red ones get loose after just an hour of wearing them. A little annoying since I wear BB just because i want the support and feeling of tightness, otherwise I'd wear boxers (but they bunch up too much under jeans). CK boxerbriefs don't seem to stretch out as much so try them?

I wear polo, burberry, calvin klein and other high end brands and it doesn't happen to me.

I think that's probably kind of normal for them to stretch a bit after wearing and washing. I guess you could try buying them a size smaller and then if they stretch a bit they'll be good and snug. :)

This happens with most of them just because you're constantly stretching them out when you walk/run/sit. Any movement stretches them because they are meant to fit tightly. Though some defiantly stretch out more than others. I've found that American eagle underwear doesn't stretch out as much as other brands. Maybe you could try trunks instead of boxer briefs. They are the same concept just a shorter leg so they don't stretch out as much.

I wear Hanes boxer briefs, but they don't loosen up. Just got some of the newer Hanes X-temp kind and they stay snug all day. I think they have like 5% Lycra, which I'm sure helps. I also size down, because I hate it when they loosen up. I get small and I think I should be a medium, super comfy that way tho, lol

Sounds like cotton briefs. They stretch out when younwear them then shrinkminnthe dryer. I hate that to. I'd change underwear if it bothers you to something like athletic underwear. It's snug and stays that way all day long everyday. And very comfortable

Yeah. I think it happens to everyone. I mean, they are clothing after all, obviously, and just like any other clothing item they stretch. I've got a big butt and thick thighs so yeah, the same happens to me

it happens. I noticed it can happen more with cheaper brands, but it can still happen regardless. like anything else, they wear out overtime. at that point, I usually get rid of them, but it just depends how worn out they are
