People bore me?

My ex and I were on and off for 4 years. He was absolutely wonderful to me but I ended up getting really bored of him. This happens with everyone, I just get bored hanging out or talking rock them and we stop talking entirely. I'm not sure what to do because I can't keep a girlfriend or boyfriend. I get bored sometimes in a month, sometimes in a year.

You just haven't meet the one person you find so interesting you can talk all the time with yet. Give it time. It'll happen

I would say I'm definitely on a different intellectual level than most my age.
However, I don't date my age. I date people who are older than me or on the same level of maturity. It's not that I have a tough time getting to know people or anything, just they bore the crap out of me after awhile. When Juan and I started dating again, I just realized I didn't enjoy him as much as I used to when I was younger. I suppose that could be because we started dating when I was turning 14 or so, though.

In response to the posts above Clara's, I find that hard to believe because I now just have a very difficult time keeping friends because I stop replying after awhile and we grow out of touch because..they bore me. I find other people who are more interesting, then the cycle repeats.

Everybody changes. Sometimes I get bored with my friends and later I have fun with them again. I guess you have to keep searching and experiencing new things until you find the people and activities that keep you interested.

I feel the same as some here, you have not found the right person yet. Also, what have you done? My best friend, who is like my boyfriend if he was gay, when we get bored, we go do somthing new. We would go to the movies and the mall but that got old so then we started going to the gym. It is all about what your doing with the person too. If you really care for someone then go out and do things.

Well that's why you are bored your not doing anything with them other than talk. Find you a person there and go have fun. Date them or not real people bet online people hands down.

I'm not exaggerating when I say 90% of people here in TN are close-minded and unintelligent. (In my specific city, which I won't disclose.)
I date older, and the older people here only want one thing. Not okay for someone to use the whole excuse that "Every older guy who dates you at your age just wants one thing" because, really, it only applies to certain areas. My ex, the 23 y/o one, was awesome to me. He wanted to marry at me at one point and we almost met up a few times but didn't due to other things.

This place sucks, and so do the people. That's all there is to that. :<

Flannel: This will probably be the case until college, unfortunately. Even then, most people will still be idiots, but you'll have a bigger chance of running into those with similar interests.

Sounds like you need someone on your same level of inteligence, the age and maturity isn't the problem, you aren't being challenged to undestand them, and once you do, little suprises you from the sounds of it.
