How do you people who have ADD/ADHD cope with it without medication or do you take meds for it?

I don't cope at all
I need meds, if I don't take them imdo not like who I am and neither does anyone else around me. Not that I like taking meds, but I dislike who I am more when I'm off my meds

its the same for me. if i dont take my meds i hate myself and everyone around me does too. I cant sit still at all and cant focus.
