I've been in a relationship with someone for awhile and we haven't spoken in months and I'm wondering if it's a sign the relationships dying/dead?
I care for them but I'm not sure if they feel the same way, any advice?

I'm sorry to say this but if you haven't spoken to them in months you're not in a relationship anymore man...

A long distance one. I want it to work but it seems to be one sided

There is a time difference between us. Does that change anything?

If you haven't spoken to them in over a week then 3 hours time differnce doesn't make any difference. Maybe you should call them and try to talk things out?

Yeah , well , long distance relationships aren't the best and it takes a ton of effort to maintain . in this case , it wasn't .

Waw. Months? Imagine if that was a partner you saw in real life?!
Your relationship isn't only dead, it's forgotten. You clearly didn't care that much for them if you let it go more than a week without being in touch. If my loved ones go missing for more than a day or two without explaination I get a bit angsty/worry about them/miss them. Months?!
There's nothing really there for either of you and it's time to move on.

I'd have to concur with the above.
Only very special circumstances survive radio silence as long as this in a romantic relationship.
It's one of the big dynamics that actually strain relationships in the entertainment industry, is because couples are split up due to traveling to location to location for filming or editing, or photo ops. Personal life takes a heavy toll.
But even in this scenario, texting, or email (for time differences), should be utilized to keep some flame alive, and even then for couples attempting to do that it's very hard to go without that lack-of-touching one another.
Touching intimately, even if it's just handholding, or a cuddle, promotes and reinforces bonding via oxytocin and dopamine. If that intimacy isn't kept up a lack of touch can spell doom for almost any relationship.

The thing is that I was contacted them, but they haven't responded in months. I DO care for them, I'm worried they don't care back :(

Hate to be cynical here but....you've confirmed they're alive?
Also was there a reciprocal relationship between you two at all?
Was it ever face to face or was it purely online romance?
If it is the latter, then I'd have to declare this was simply a one-sided crush on your part bordering on obsession.
I'd move on if I were you, as the current situation is untenable.

Three hours ? No , that's not gonna work . You need some clarity on this situation but living in probably , a different state (province , I don't know what y'all use) is not gonna work out for the best unless you are closer to her .
