Not at all weird. I guess everyone has different levels of concentration.
For me, If I have music or the TV on in the background, I can tune it out and j/o. But if it's loud or something interesting is on TV, then I get distracted easily.

Well, it is a very hard take so you have to be fully concentrated both mentally and physically. So music is a distraction.

It's a little distracting specially if it's loud. I can do it better if the music is soft and soothing. But usually I don't listen to music when I jerk off.
