I already have braces,actually. When I first got them my mom said that if I kissed someone else who had them they would get hooked together. Unfortunately, I'm not kissing on any girls. Even more unfortunately, I have never even had my first kiss yet, which is fine because 1) I don't want to rush it, and 2) I don't really have some to actually kiss and 3) I would never hear the end of it from my brother... #facepalm.

I'm not so sure about that. He has an extreme aversion to any kind of romance to the extent he will make a big show out of covering his eyes on the kissing scenes in movies or when my parents kiss. (Although I have a sneaking suspicion that he is just being a typical little kid)

I've heard of people saying that braces will get stuck if you kiss, but I think it is just a myth parents made up to discourage teenagers from making out. Unless your braces are seriously messed up I see no logical way they could become entangled with other braces. I've never had braces, but I know people and it seems unlikely.
