So I might be going to this camp sometime in December and I have never been to one and like I am afraid to shower in front of other guy because I am like afraid to get a boner in front of other guys because I don't want to be made fun of you know.... so does anyone have any suggestions?

The 2nd camp i went to we could take a shower any time, so i just when i wasn't horny at all. You could probly even jerk off before to make sure. Another thing i did was to go with a friend and talk about whatever we did that day so by the time the convo ended i was halfway done with the shower and didn't notice

Just try to relax, do your stuff in the shower and dry off, get dressed. Maybe you'll get a boner, maybe you won't. Chances are you wouldn't be the only one.

Just have your shower, keep your head down, and do what you have to. If you get any grief, try to ignore or even fight back. Try and stay calm though, it might not be as bad as you think it'll be!

And what people say about it getting easier to shower in front of others with time is true - I used to shower with my football team when I played and it was weird at first, after a few times it got to where it didn't bother me. Even guys on the team got them sometimes. It happens.

This is awesome. Also, keep this in mind: there are probably a lot of other guys like you that are too worried about themselves to be looking around in the shower. Secondly, it would be kind of a weird thing for someone to shout in the shower that someone else had a boner.

I totally get where you're coming from. I spent all of elementary school afraid of middle school PE because I kept hearing that you HAD to shower. I was worried I wasn't going to be as far along in puberty as everyone else or that I'd pop a boner in front of everyone. The first time I had to shower openly it was awful. It seemed like no one else was afraid and I was the only one. After talking to some of my friends I learned they were just as scared as I was! A few times I have gotten hard but I'm not the only one for sure.

Hahah I'd definitely have been your friend. My school doesn't have showers so nobody has to take them or anything. But that would definitely have been me all the time. Though it would've been cool in some ways and helped my confidence lol

I've been to and worked for a few camps. Most of them have private-ish showers with curtains or stalls. I've never seen completely open showers.

Honestly, don't worry about it. Everyone is just as nervous and besides it'll be a few minutes where everyone just trying to get done asap.
