Hey I didn't know where else to post this so I posted it here. I was wondering if an Ecig with the nicotine level of 3.0% is bad for your health? I have a few njoy menthol ecigs and I'm not sure if it's still bad for you or not.
Any reply helps, thanks!

Average concentration of nicotine in e-cig smoke is approximately 1 tenth of that in real cigarette smoke. E-cigs are not "bad" for your health, because they contain no tar or the other cancerous substances in cigarette smoke.
They are however equally as addictive.
Menthol supposedly gives a bigger "hit" (cooling effects) but there is no real evidence to support them being more addictive than normal cigarettes because they contain the same amount of nicotine.

I actually did the research on this, since most of the people posting probably don't have any proof to back up their claims. Here are the facts: nicotine is NOT very bad for you. It has been shown to contribute to heart disease and hardening of blood vessels, but that's it. In a way, you can think of it as a concentrated form of caffeine (which is also bad for your health). What REALLY kills and damages people are the ash, tar, and added chemicals in cigarettes. It's really kinda scary, the kinds of things that they load in there. Some of these things are highly toxic cleaning chemicals. E-cigarettes contain only nicotine and glycerol (basically a kind of sugar that's used in fog machines, said to be even safer than table sugar). The amount of nicotine can vary depending on the concentration of the fluid you buy.
Here's a link for proof. You can also go on Wikipedia to look at the effects of nicotine on the body, but unless you've taken a biology or chemistry class, you probably won't understand any of it.
