So i sit in the back in health class and i suddenly hear my teacher insisting "Just because you think of guys when masturbating doesn't mean you're gay" Now i have no idea what led to this...Someone blurted out "Then what does it mean" The teacher got uncomfortable and kind of mumbled about puberty idk
This left me really confused cause i know i'm gay, i don't get thoughts of girls ever and i don't know how guys can have those thoughts while jerking and say they're str8. Also this is all taboo subject in my area so i'm afraid to talk on it

I'm guessing your teacher must have been trying to say that during puberty there are a lot of hormones at play and that at times it is normal for a guy to admire features on another guy or a girl to like what she is seeing on another girl. All because a guy or a girl may like something they see on the same sex does not necessarily mean they are homosexual. My thinking is that the teacher was trying to say that being gay involves something a lot deeper than simply liking the way someone of the same sex looks but rather a person wanting both an emotional and physical relationship with someone of the same sex in order to be gay. At least your teacher was trying to be helpful, and it is really tough to bring up such a subject if your area is very conservative.

Your teacher just meant that during puberty, its normal to have thoughts or even attraction toward the same sex due to an obscene amount of hormones running through your body, even if after puberty, you may not have any interest in your own sex at all.

For me, I like having sex with girls and I am attracted to girls, and when I think of who I will be with in the future and get married to and have kids with and be romantic with, it's a female, so I consider myself straight. But I am curious about other guy's bodies. Like how we are put together, body hair (since I am hairy), dick size, and really interested in the idea of jerking off together and things like that. So I guess that's the curious part. But I still consider myself straight because long term I want to be with a female.

I would say that you obviously know you are gay. We are born gay. Your teacher was like some of the others said I think trying to tell you that boys going through puberty can be curious about other boys. Was your health class strictly all boys in the class cause that statement wouldn't make sense if there were girls in there too.

I think the point they were trying to make is that at a young age, you are still figuring yourself out. Don't jump to conclusions based off what you masturbate to. I call this the "questioning" stage.
