Add, Ritalin, weight

I was diagnosed with add 1.5 years ago.
Since that day I take Ritalin and I gained 25 pounds. Grrrr I feel fat and uncomfortable.

Who else gained weight with add and Ritalin?

I've only tried it a couple times so can't say anything about gaining weight

I had the complete opposite, I had stunted growth and apetitie loss, I took it in stints and when i had it for 5 days at University i ate barely anything for this time.

I've been taking various ADD meds since I was six, so I don't know if there was any initial weight gain. However, last year I tried to switch off of the stimulants and ended up gaining weight. I went back on them because of school problems and I lost it again.

I take it and I think it keeps effects my appetite. I don't like to eat as much. I mean I think I will but then can't finish or don't want to finish what I start. So I am skinny.
