What To Sleep In?

Hello,
Just a quick question for advice really from people in the UK or areas around the world that are currently experiencing temperatures around 4-5 degrees at the moment...

In the summer, I either sleep in my boxers or nothing at all and I am quite comfortable like that but because it's getting quite cold now so I am warm but not warm enough to not have much clothing on, what do you do in times like this?

Also, next year, I will be going on a residential in the summer months but sleeping in a tent on my own, what can I sleep in? I wouldn't sleep with nothing on but if I was covered up, would it be okay to sleep in my boxers or would you advise against this? what would you do? If you are from the UK, I am talking about the silver DofE.

I sleep in my boxer briefs the year round and am very comfortable. I live in Minnesota in the USA. It gets to both extremes of warm and cold here. With heat and air conditioning our house stays the same temperature. I usually sleep with only a bedsheet on in summer and add a blanket on in winter.

I sleep naked or in boxers year round, just get an extra blanket. If you're sleeping in the tent alone who cares what you wear, you can be naked or fully dressed nobody will see you.

Sleep nude all the time winter or summer. I find im cold with socks and pj in winter.camping/tent would be no diffrent for me.

Oooo I have had loads of friends that just took silver DofE!! For DofE you'll be sharing a tent with your male friends and if you're comfortable with boxers then go ahead buddy I can't imagine there being a problem with it!!! It will be cold tho so I do recommend pjs!!

I do have a couple sets of PJs. one set has shorts, the other long trousers/ Nude is fun in the summer, but it is too cold now!

usually in summer I sleep just in briefs and tee (or without tee if its real warm), and normal pjs the rest of the year. if you're warm but not that much, try short sleeve pjs ? or long pants and tee ?

and by the way, what will you do for DofE ?

Well even if it gets hellishly cold here sometimes I sleep naked all year round, and in the winter I'll add blankets but I find sleeping in clothing uncomfortable.

I am from Michigan and also sleep in my underwear year around. the only time I will wear more is when I am somewhere where I absolutely have to, which does not happen often. I am comfortable though about being in my underwear around others (also seeing naked from changing and showering, but totally different topic). sometimes I will sleep naked, but usually it is in just my underwear

be comfortable and wear what you want to wear. if you want to sleep in your underwear, do it, a lot/most of the other guys will be. if you want to wear more, wear more

Almost always boxerbriefs. if it's really cold outside - under 15 degrees F - the heat in my room can't keep up with it, then I might also wear a t shirt and socks.

When its real cold. I wear flannel sleep pants and long sleeve shirt...Some times i`ll put socks on.. Hot weather..naked or just underwear.. When you go on your trip ..just wear your boxers..what you usually do when your home...And your right I wouldent sleep naked in the tent !
