View Full Version : When did you start shaving your face?

I started when I turned 14, and it felt pretty weird since I was the only one with enough facial hair in my grade back then (except now I look younger than most of the other guys so lol). If I forget to shave for a day I get stubble all over which is super annoying, it doesn't suit me..

I think I started shaving around 14ish because I got blonde annoying hairs growing but I think only at 16 did is get dark and grow fast and only then was I able to grow a real bead and moustache if I wanted to:)

I was 13 and my mom gave me a razor and shave cream and told me it was time for me to start shaving. I only needed to shave like once a week or so. By the time I was 15 I grew a beard over summer break.

13. But almost never. I'm blond so it's not bad. But I don't like the look of teens with facial hair that isn't complete. It's fine for older teens who can grow complete proper beards but not like the dirty mustache thing, that looks gross imo.

Just last month with a razor, but from about 13 with an electric one.

I agree, the mustache is just awful on anyone. My hair is light brown but the facial hair becomes very noticeable if I don't shave everyday. It sucks.

I was 14 too. But I've always been a hairy guy and if I don't shave I get stubble. I actually usually have some stubble and people think I'm older than I am all the time. I am 16 now but people think I am 18 or 19 and I think it's mostly because of the stubble.

What's funny is that, even with stubble, I still get mistaken for younger. SMH.

Why do u think that a mustache looks dirty?
A little upper lip hair looks cool and is sexy.
Babes go wild bout it-Only when it gets scrawny
then it looks gross. I even find it hot on some
guys.
:fall::turkey2:
I got upper lip hair when I was 13-sometimes
I shave it but then I let it grow back in cause
the babes find it sexy. I still don't have a beard
starting but my sideburns r getting long so I guess
next will b my face. Once u shave- the beard will grow
back In heavier.

I'm 14 and I don't have any facial hair yet. I don't know when I will start growing any either. If anyone is interested I will post when any facial hair begin to grow on my face.

I think he was referring to a small amount of hair that doesn't really make a full moustache. My guess it that this falls into the same category as stuble rather than a beard where the fact that tramps would often not have access to shaving facilities any more than washing facilities so the "unshaven" look is associated with being dirty.
To answer the original question, about 14 IIRC, to address this "partial moustache" thing.

I had to shave when I started high school because you're not allowed to have facial hair on school so even if you had a pencil line , it had to go .

I'm 14 and light blonde and have only a few single hairs peeking from my chin and moustache area. I clip these hairs very couple of days. Hopefully I will start growing my beard in a few weeks, since all of a sudden, I get hairy now everywhere else in the last weeks.
