While I'm not too sure about it, you can experiment but I would suggest to keep on washing your face since keeping it clean helps prevent pimples easier

Drinking a lot of water helps too.

We still get a zit here and there even if you wash and use skin cleanser. I would just keep doing what you are doing. You can pop the occasional zit and use rubbing alcohol or zit lotion to dry it up. You are perfectly normal.

Stick to your usual face wash. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. As long as your not completely covered in them...

I didn't find the any facewash to be the perfect solution for pimples. It is also fair to say that just because you used a particular facewash and still got a pimple doesn't mean it us useless - you don't know what would have happenned had you not been using it, maybe you would have had many more.
On the other hand I am sceptical of the arguments of some of those who produce facewash in claiming the bacteria are the issue and that if we can kill them the pimples won't happen. Staphylococcus bacteria are normally present on the skin where they keep fungi under control. They don't suddenly appear at puberty. WHat happens at puberty is that the skin gets oilier.

I think getting some pimples is going to be pretty normal no matter how you wash and stuff. I guess some guys are lucky and never seem to get any but most of us will get some now and then.

Like a lot of people have said, sometimes they just happen. But it would be a good idea to find a product that's meant for your skin type(sensitive, oily, dry, etc.), as some products work better with certain skin types.
