Lately I have become obsessed with the idea of comparing my 'parts' to someone else's, but looking at a picture on the Internet isn't good enough for me, is this weird. I have losts of questions about such things that I want to ask the guy friends I know but they don't want to compare with me or talk to me about sexual things. For some reason they think that it is weird to do this or it is something only gay people do... Is it weird or gay to want to compare your parts in real life and not to be satisfied with pictures and lenthes
Ps I am straight, and my friends are also

Its totally normal to compare and no it isn't gay to do so.
You are gay when you are physically and emotionally attracted to other guys. If you always have sexual thoughts about guys than you may be crossing the line.

I'm in the same boat as you. Every guy I've asked finds it weird or gay, but I have also heard from many that it isn't. I don't think it is. I just think it means you are straight and curious.

It is normal to wonder how you compare to your peers in various ways and despite the taboo that surrounds genitals and sex these are not exempt from this.
The reaction you have got so far is also fairly typical, though. Other people are prevented from being open because they fear being labelled as gay themselves. It is all part of a general trend of worrying too much about other people and what they think.
Sites like this can help to satisfy some curiosity but take the measurements and estimates with a pinch of salt.

Its normal to compare and want to But u don't just go
straight out and ask ur friends to do so-u have to build
up to it little by little especially if u r close to them-I'm
sure if u play it cool u can feel free to comment with one
another on masturbating-girls-porn or sex and then c what
it leads to. Asking ur straight friends to compare might make
them feel uncomfortable and they will then make comments
that doing such stuff is not right or gay-if u asked anyone of
ur friends to do it-don't pursue it-let them gain ur confidence.
Arrange a sleepover or ask if they want to watch some porn on
the web and then let the hornies take over.

It is not unusual to compare. But there is no surprises here. We all change and shower naked toghter every day in gym class.

Being gay isn't about comparing, it's about attraction. Why you need to compare to guys offline i don't know, a locker room or whatever is the best way to compare to several guys at once your own age and with your penis next to theirs. Pics of older guys done with puberty just isn't the same

I've compared my size to my friends and I almost wish I hadn't as they're both bigger than me :(.

Yeah I think it's totally normal to compare and be curious about how we're each built differently as guys. I've always been curious about how another guy is put together, body frame, body hair, the size of our junk, etc. I just think it's normal curiosity.

I think it's normal to want to compare. Most guys have probably been curious about others guys size before. I've wanted to compare before, but never have.

I don't think it is weird at all. Every guy is curious of how he stands up (no pun intended) to the other guys. I have compared with other guys and have come up short (okay here's the pun) a few times.

It's perfectly normal to want to look at and compare your male parts with other guys. Yes some guys may think it's weird but I think they are just worried about being labeled as gay and are a bit homophobic. Don't worry about it and maybe you will find some guys that are willing.

Yeah I was still like that. Well, actually I still am. But not as much. It's normal to want to compare. But yeah a lot of people would probably think it's weird unfortunately.

I compare with my best bud when we were 14. We are both straight. I also check out other guys in the bathroom after swimming. It's more curious and how I measure up.

Same. Here no one really talks about anything sexual unless it's jokingly, like he goes to the bathroom so often he jacks off there. So I don't bring it up as it would be kind of weird.

During puberty it's normal to want to compare with others, and many straight guys will actually feel the same way you do. However because of the weird way society works somehow comparing with someone is related to being gay because it's interacting with another naked guy. That's not the case however because being homosexual involves more than just curious sexual encounters. It's a combination of consistent sexual and romantic attraction.

Dead on the money with that one, really well said dude. It's just society says guys naked together with erections, touching each other etc is gay. When it's just normal natural curiousness. It's not gay unless romantic attraction or you have feels for the other guy. If the only feeling is friendship then it's just two friends comparing there junk to each others. Otherwise you gonna compare to a male pornstar! That's just stupid and leaves you feeling like your not up to standard.

Once again it's just what society tells us is normal. That's why your friends think it's weird or gay or both. But I bet they'd actually want to do it, but they say no because others are around and they don't want to be cast as weird or gay.

You are not gay for comparing! You are gay if you are sexually and emotionally attracted to guys. Now I think the line is crossed if you kiss another guy.

Looking comparing or wondering about same age guys is totally normal, in fact I'd say healthy tbh. If you didn't cause of what ever social what ever then we'd never know we're all pretty much normal. And we all need to know that. Only one way we find out for sure. Show n tell. No big deal. It's not gay it's puberty

True!!! The showers can be fun, but also be respectful to others and give them their privacy. May not be good if you don't

Its totally normal! Still some guys don't feel the need to compare with others. As normal as you are for wanting to compare, remember that your friend are also normal for not wanting to do so.

I have not had this problem since all the guys shower after gym.
In the summer months many of us go swimming nude and end up sitting around the fire nude talking. My old brother and his friends have been helpful for the younger guys as they explained how things devolved for them. There are not many options for you in a school where males are no longer showering together. Our school is talking about closing the showers for insurance reasons. They tried it 4 years ago and some teachers complained the boys smelled to bad in classes after gym.

Well if people mean looking at others in the locker room then ya I do that. But I've never done more than that. For one I would always be the smallest and also it sounds gay
