I might have chlaymida and if I do I'm to afraid my mom will find out i fingers someone once. I have had burning in my penis when I pee for a long time but disregarded it. I probably have a UTI. If I do though then it hasent spread. If I leave a UTI for years can it still not turn into a kidney infection?

Bro u posted this prob u have earlier today and I told u-u might
get urinary tract infections-it doesn't mean u have an STD that
some years ago u experimented with someone. A chronic UTI
over time if not treated can cause a kidney infection. U r worried
and u r scared but the only way u can relieve ur bad thoughts is
to c a doctor and who may b able to find out what is really wrong
and then treat it. If u keep putting it off it is only going to cause u
more grief. U don't have to tell ur Mom-if u r in school ask the school
nurse who the school doctor is and then make a point to c him. No one
else has to know. Dude-do something before u have a breakdown.:(

If u ask the nurse who the doctor is and she asks y-u don't have to
tell her-just say that u want to talk to him-she should get the message.

I agree with what others have said... regardless of what it is, you need to see a doctor. They are the only one who can tell you what exactly is going on and treat it. It won't just go away by itself, so take care of it now before it gets any worse.

Like I told you in your other thread. Go to the doctor and find out what if anything is wrong. Then you can also quit worrying. Don't worry about your mom or anything. Your medical records are between you and your doctor. She will only know any results if you tell her the doctor can't tell her. So for your health and peace of mind go see your doctor now and quit reposting threads on here asking for more advise.

You have two problems here which I'll break down:

1. Like the others have said, having a UTI is a really big deal on a guy because the distance from the urethra to the kidney on a guy is not that far meaning that the infection can travel rather quickly. You have to get medical attention right away because once the infection travels to the kidneys, then you'll have a bigger problem to explain to your Mum.

2. Your second problem is approaching your Mum. The way I would handle it is simply tell her that you have some pelvic pain or pain when you urinate and leave it at that. Girls get UTIs more frequently than guys which means she actually might be pretty sympathetic towards you. The way you can explain away your problem is that you could say that the school washrooms were really nasty which is why you think you had gotten something, or if you have a foreskin, then it is not beyond belief that some bacteria could be living there. In other words, you can talk your way around this problem without revealing you are sexually active.

Your post says that you had fingered someone, but it does not appear that you actually had vaginal or anal sex. If that is the case, then no one will ever figured out you had fingered someone. If you have vaginal or anal sex, then when you are alone with the doctor, then be totally honest about your sexual activity. The only way the doctor can do his/her job is if he/she has the truth.

You'll be fine, but just see a doctor very soon. In the future, just be careful when you do sexual stuff, and make sure that both you and your partner are using good hygiene.

I wonder if what I said in the other thread makes you think it may be chlaymida? I didn't intend to suggest this was the most likely infection - I only pointed out that STIs and UTIs are not mutually exclsive.

Likewise there are plenty of UTIs that are not sexually transmitted. Second Chance mentioned that girls get UTIs more often and, particularly in young girls this is often due to E.coli smeared into that area from the anus. That isn't sexually transmitted.

At this stage worrying about the route the infection got in should not be your focus, getting rid of it should be.

If you're keen to avoid telling your mum you could check out what services you have at your disposal locally. Will your GP (doctors) surgery let you make an appointment for yourself? Do you have a GUM c(genito-urinary medicine) clinic? Here in the UK they will see people without telling their parents. Just tell them that you are not sure whether the infection was sexually transmitted or not so they can be sure to run the right tests.

If you do have to tell your mum you don't have to go into too much detail. You should be able to discuss that confidentially with the doctor. I'd say no more than it hurts to pee and you want to get checked out.

One weay or another you do need to see a medic about this, though. Sitting at home scared will not solve it.
