Catching and feeling bad.

Last night i knocked on my brothers bedroom door and walked in before he could answer me and caught him masterbateing. I have seen him many,,many time naked and he has seen me naked many times cause he is my twin brother and we are close.But i have never caught him in a intimate moment like that. Now he avoids me and i feel bad and don't know what to do. I know i embarrassed him i didn't mean to. I think you need to have a private conversation with your brother and first appoligize for invading his privacy, you can tell him that its natural and pretty much everyone does it and that you'll try really hard not invade his privacy again, tho that's easier said than done, it happens all the time in families. i'm sure he'll get over it before very long, it sounds like he was just really embarassed.

I didn't mean to walk in on him it was a accident.
I knocked on the door my mistake i didn't wait for a reply i did learn my lesson
I wouldn't like it and now i feel like putting my head in a bucket of cement.
It was awkward and embarrassing to the both of us.

I definitely wouldn't beat yourself up over it - it was an honest mistake its not like you were trying to invade his privacy.

You'll know I guess if it is best to talk to him about it or just pretend it never happened and move on. But I had the exact same thing happen with my younger brother and we would up talking about it. He had a lot of questions about girls doing it (he didn't think we really did lol) so I think I helped him out. And we got closer because of it.

I know it's awkward, getting caught is not fun for either part, no matter how natural it is. But like others have mentioned, apologize, explain to him that it's a totally normal and common way to get to know the body, and promise you won't enter before hearing an answer next time. ;)

I explained that i masterbate too and that most people do it and that it is normal.
I think i made him feel better about masterbating and that i will try my best not to do it again.
And then i took my apology a little farther this morning and made him bacon and eggs and waffles with strawberries on top. Then i told him not to be expecting breakfast ever morning .

I think the best thing you could do would be to apologize for it & see how that goes after that he may or may not want to discuss it further, but after a few weeks everything should go back to normal.

i'm glad everything turned out well, i thought it probably would....just remember from now on to give him time to respond when you knock on his door - lol
