Washing jock or compression short

anyone into sports and wears jock or compression shorts do you think you have to wash them every time you wear them or can it wait. I wash the compression shorts pretty much every time but my jock i leave since its only my sack and dick that its in contact with.

I have several pairs of compression/slider shorts that I use because I play travel ball, and I wash them after each use. They get pretty soaking wet and smelly.

kyrocks3: yea i agree about the shorts they can get pretty rank especially when its hot but my jock seems ok, just some musky smell from my sack, you wear a jock too?

No but the musky smell alone would cause me to want to wash it!:eek:

Your sack and dick are most prone to sweating and chafing, if anything it should be washed more!

I think you need serval pairs of the jock or you could get jock itch

I would wash both often. I wear my underwear and wash shorts after each use so you are clean both ways.

I use both for different sports and i wash them no reason not to and if yu don't never know what can happen -- jock itch and other types of crotch problems cause of sweat and germs

Definitely wash it every time. You would think it would be clean but it isn't. Your genitals get very dirty and sweaty from activities. If you're not careful if you keep exposing your junk to your past sweat without washing it you could get a rash.

I bring my jock and my other gym clothes home every other day for my mom to wash. I have a couple jocks so I switch them out.

what brand jock you wear i wear bike and notice that ones with wide bands need washing more often so i am going to switch to narrow band jocks if my dad lets me

mine are bike and shock doctor. they get really sweaty but i dont feel like they stink 2 bad after a couple times.

I always wash compression shorts after wearing, unless I use them to jerk of, then I keep them till they get annoying. Washing is always good!

Shorts go into the wash after i use them. my jock(cup) like during hockey season ill wash a few times a season.and at end of the season.

I have a couple Bike jocks, too. Wash them often or you'll get jock itch.

Probably a good idea to wash them regularly especially because you're sweating into jock or compression shorts. You likely change your underwear everyday even if you're not sweating into them so you probably want to do similar for your sports gear. Have a few pairs so you can swap out when they're in the wash.

oh yea especially important if you wear the jock or compressions. Rare occasions I will re-wear mine. just good to get several pairs . Have one for every day of the week.
