Penis = Dirty?

Hello, the title may be a bit misleading or such, and if it is I deeply apologize, but I hope this post clarifies the meaning!
I've been pondering this question for a long time in my mind. Do you consider your penis to be dirty? As in if you touch it you wash your hands and if it somehow touches any surface you wash it before you touch that surface? This may seem a bit irrational, I know, but I really want to know people's views on this. I've seen people who do indeed think they are dirty and you need to wash your hands, and I've seen people who don't think you need to wash your hands.

Whilst i dont think my penis is dirty, i do think people should wash their hands after peeing, ur dick is so close to ur asshole u get like micro particles of shit and thats where the bacteria comes from. Its always a good idea to wash your hands after touching yourself, though the penis itself may not be dirty, our hands carry the most germs and bacteria more than any place on the human body (mouth excluded), so its always a good idea to wash them after touching just about anything.

I don't have any moral reason to see my penis as dirty, but there is a part of me that does think "if I touch it, I should wash my hands first". And this is what I usually do, but I don't usually touch it outside of masturbation/urination, and in those cases I would wash my hands anyway.

No, I don't think of my penis as dirty.

I know as toddlers we usually get the message that anything to do with going to the toilet is dirty but this really applies to defacation. Faeces (shit) is genuinely dirty. Even when healthy, it contains bacteria that are quite normal at that end of the digestive system but would cause gastroenteritis when introduced at the other end via your mouth. If you have one of those 24 hour vomitting bugs, usually a virus, then those will be present too and someone who has intestinal worms will have the eggs there too. All of these can be spread from anus to hand to mouth or anus to hand to food to mouth.

So, it is for that reason that it is good idea to wash your hands after defacating and also before eating, especially if you are eating with your fingers. Failure to do so can cause unpleasant symptoms including stomach ache, cramps, vomitting and diarrhea.

By comparison urine is sterile. You probably don't want to drink it as the chemicals in it are ones your body is trying to get rid of and therefore you'd be undoing the work your kidneys have done to get rid of those things but people do occasionally drink it with no ill-effects and certainly you aren't going to become sick because you have traces on your hands from not washing after peeing.

You also can't consider cum to be dirty if you ever expect to receive a blow job and, of course, its real purpose is to get a girl pregnant which requires it to go up insider her. That can't be dirty, can it?

Smegma may well contain bacteria and it is probably as well to wash there reasonably often. Not so often as to dry everything out and make it sore, but often enough that it looks clean.

Not unless it's after I cum or something else that actually makes my penis dirty. I only consider it as another part of my body that I wash in the shower every day, so I don't see why it would be dirtier than the rest of my body. Personally I find my hands to be 10 times dirtier because they come in contact with all the crap that you touch while your genitals are usually safe from that stuff.

I don't think my penis is dirty necessarily but I do wash my hands after using the bathroom regardless. Mysophobics think everything is dirty and touching any foreign things out of their home makes them uncomfortable. They usually carry those antibacterial cleaners with them.

Viruses like a cold or flu are often carried by touch - door knobs, coffee machines etc etc. If you clean carefully after going to the washroom, you are automatically taking care of those viruses, as well as anything from your body or the toilet. It's a good idea all around.

Well, as I stated, I'm mostly referring to things like itching it or if you sleep naked do you wash anything afterwards such as the sheets or etc, not really using the bathroom or jizzing because you should always wash your hands after those activities.

They told us in Hygiene that the penis isn't the dirtiest organ on our body. It's your mouth that is probably the dirtiest although there are different opinions to that claim. But it's always a good idea to wash your hands after peeing or defecating to clean off any bacteria that may have been left on your hands.

Considering you pee out of it, there must be some bacteria and germs in the area. Although I think I would also wash my hands if I was out somewhere all day, before touching that area.
