So I'm 14, and I work at a pizza chain part-time. I've been working there since May, and I began to develop a huge crush on this chick who also works with me. She's also 14, and we talk and joke around quite a bit, but everyone does that so it doesn't qualify as flirting. Other than basic information I have gleaned from our conversations, I really do not know much about her (I don't know her relationship status either). Now I've been through the normal relationship process quite a few times, and normally I don't really hesitate to ask out chicks that I like. The problem is, the employees in our store is a very tight-knit team, and we have to work together well, otherwise the team doesn't function. If I were to ask her out and she rejected me, it would become very awkward between us and we potentially would not be able to work well with each other. I am therefore hesitant to ask her out.
Any help would be appreciated!

I wouldn't worry about that and stop you from asking her out. People can say no to dating and still remain friends it happens all the time. Just follow your heart man.

Get to know her just a little bit better so you can get a better gauge as to which way she'd go if you did ask her out. You sound like you have a really good working relationship which is a good start, but maybe try hanging out outside of work too...completely platonically at least at first lol

It's hard because we don't go to the same school, we don't even live in the same suburb - I know her only from work.

Social media is a tool to use in this case.
