Inside both of my nipples, there is a hard thing that hurts a little if you poke it in the right spot. It feels really strange, almost like raw tissue if you move it around a bit. Is this normal?

If its in both its allgood and normal, if it was in just one then youd start to worry. Btw did u know men can get breast cancer.

I would say it is glandular tissue that u feel and
since u r into puberty ur pecs and nipples ache
and feel sore-its a natural thing in guys. I have
the same but if u feel it may be something else
id check with a doctor. Just don't rub or squeeze
ur breasts.

I think it's normal. But if it gets bigger or hurts more I think getting it checked by a doctor would be a good idea.

Nearly every guy gets these I think. Nothing to worry about. Though if they start to swell or harden more into your late teens, I'd see a doctor.

It's this probably. Mine are sore BIG TIME right now and I complained about it to my mum. She told me it's because of hormone surge and puberty. This makes sense to me because I just started growing pubic hair a few weeks ago.

It's normal I think, Many guys that I've spoken to have them too. If you are really worried you can go to the doctors?

Just ask your doctor the next time you get a check up if it concerns you. It shouldn't be of too much concern if there isn't pain.

Yes, I am sure this is the explanation. You may have learned that the female sex hormone is estrogen. made by the ovaries and the male hormone is testosterone, made by the testicles but what you may not have learned is that there are very similar chemically and enzymes can convert one to the other. In fact both sexes have both hormones it ius just that in males testosterone dominates and in females estrogen dominates.
In fact estrogen has a very important role in bone development. It is responsible for the growth spurt, in both girls and boys and growth plate closure. Thereafter it is responsible for maintaing bone density which is why post-menopausal women get brittle bones (osteoporosis).
Estrogen is also the hormone that drives breat development. So as a guy you want just enough for your bones to grow but so much your breasts grow. Sometime the level can be a little off and the breasts do start to grow, called gynocomastia. Hard lumps are the first sign of breast development when a girl starts puberty. In guys this is normally a temporay inbalance - the breasts may never grow to the point of being noticable and if they do they will rpobably shink down again.
