As a teen of course I get pimples all the time-- I have this special soap that"s supposed to aid in that and I take it during showers. I shower morning before school and night before bed. I was wondering how often do u shower and if u got pimples what do u do deal with it?

I just scrub my face with regular soap. Works pretty well, I have only minor pimples.

I shower once a day, use normal soap, and wash my face with a damp washcloth twice a day and I rarely get pimples.

I wash my face everyday, especially after exercising, and I just apply soap when showering.

I shower once to twice a day. Showering is a different routine from facial washing (atleast to me). Your question should focus on how often we wash our face since you're talking about pimples. The skin on your face is more sensitive and delicate than the skin on your body. That's why a normal body soap is different from a facial foam and a body lotion is different from a facial cream. I don't put anything on my face when showering but when I wash my face I use a facial gel. Using facial scrub is not really good for sensitive skin. If you like, try to have a facial wash with salicylic acid, it will treat and prevent breakouts at the same time. You only need to wash your face twice a day because over-cleansing forces the skin to produce more oil. If you've got oily skin and you feel like washing it, you can instead remove excess oil with a blotting sheet.

When I was 13 I used to had one pimple on my temple or my neck every month. The last one I had it, I put ice on it for 30minutes, the next day it was gone! This is a fast and natural way to get rid of pimple that really works. No need to use these special soaps. I don't really believe in soaps and creams that promises a perfect skin in 7 days. I know Salicylic acid works for pimples but the less products you put on your face, the better. If you don't want ice you can apply a white vinegar on your pimple with a cotton ball. I guess this is the fastest and most effective way to get rid of your pimple. But, I just prefer the ice treatment. I don't know though if it works to bad cases of acne. I hope you don't have one. Don't also try to pop your zits.

I don't get any pimple anymore since I turned 14. I believe it's because of the ice treatment I've been doing every night. Rubbing ice on my face has been a part of my nightly routine. It's relaxing and it keeps my skin smooth and clear. Plus, it's not a waste of money. All natural.

I shower once a day, usually at night. I wash my face two or three times a day. I can't imagine using soap on my face, I always use a cleanser instead. Soap is extremely drying, and doesn't work as well as cleanser.

I don't have any acne now, but I used to have extremely severe acne, covering much of my face and lasting a very long time. The usual treatments (salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide) didn't work, nor did prescription strength creams. My doctor gave me two different antibiotics, which helped a bit, but not much.

Last summer my doctor gave me a prescription for accutane, the last resort treatment for acne. The side effects were awful, but it worked. It completely cleared my skin in about 4 months. I've been off it for two months now, and I haven't had a single pimple.

You might want to try some different commercial acne treatments. Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide work for most people. If they don't work, your doctor can give you stronger topical treatments or antibiotics. You should do something as soon as you can, since acne can cause scarring if it isn't controlled. I'm glad I got treatment for mine before it could cause serious scarring. I have scars, but they are fading and aren't that visible.

I used to have way more pimples than I do now thankfully, and I eliminated most of them by firstly not popping them or touching them much, secondly when I cut my hair it eliminated all the ones on my forehead, and in third place by washing my face with neutral soap when I showered.
