Is chemistry mutual?

Whenever this guy comes up to me and starts talking, I feel an instant chemistry, especially in the gaze. I got the feeling that he looks at me differently than at others and that he stares right into my eyes, and doesn't let go for a split second that feels already extra long.
If I feel it, does he?

Well I've known him for a year, we see each other everyday but since we go to different classes we don't hang out together. I suddenly feel chemistry though. And I feel that he looks at me differently than he used to. I don't know what changed exactly but something definitely clicked between us. He even said he finds me great/extraordinary, today.

Well I suppose you have to kind of feel him out when you talk to him. If you really want to know you can just ask him what he thinks about you.
