Sooo I'm at the age where gym locker room showers are necessary and not optional, I'm a bisexual male, and I am afraid of getting an erection in the middle of showering in the locker room (there is no devidid showers it's all one big room with a few shower heads). Should I just not participate so I don't have to shower?

I would say to practice showering naked at other places where you don't know the people so its not awkward. Get a boner where you don't know anyone is not that bad. Slowly the whole showering naked thing will normalize and erections while showering naked will be a thing of the past. It just takes practice.

Some things you can't avoid. One of those is getting unwanted boners. That has happened to me in pe showers. You can get out the shower quick and grab your towel. Everyone going through puberty gets them. When that happened to me I did get teased. But fortunately it only lasted a couple days until someone else got a boner in pe showers.

Dude I've had to do this since fifth grade, and I was scared at first too. I just got in, washed quick, and got the hell outta there. Don't look down or at the other guys in there, and if you do, chances are you might not get a boner. Even if someone does (and everyone has a couple times), we always just laugh it off and carry on. I take showers after PE and any sports programs I'm in. Some guys don't shower after PE which is bad since it is the first class of the day for us. This is a decision you have to make, I think. As far as boners are we all get them and yes I have but nothing really was said -- I wasn't teased or anything or have any of the guys that have that I've seen.

And I have played sports all of my life definitely over 10 years and my dad is a coach so I have been showering a ton. It's very true that guys can get wood randomly, this is both good and bad imo.
