I'm uncut and I can't pull my foreskin back fully... I can get it halfway down the head but it's too tight to get down the rest. Anyone else have this problem?

How old are you? Are erections painful? Someone may be along later to suggest stretching or cream, but if you're younger, you may be at a normal stage.

I'm 15, and no normal erections don't hurt

Try pulling pulling it back to its limit and hold it there for awhile, say 10 minutes or so. Do it several times a day if you can. Over time, increasing amounts of the head should emerge and you'll know you are making progress.

Hmm, might want to make an appointment to see a doctor. I think they can give you a steroid cream that helps it stretch. I know it's kinda embarrassing to have to tell parents though.

Jake, I had this issue for some time when I was younger - I could pull it down but not all the way and it wasn't unbearably painful just uncomfortable so I couldn't pull it far down...but it got better as I got a bit older! It just kind of happened naturally so I'm sure as ling as you are gentle with it and 'ease' it to become looser gradually over time, it will be a lot more comfortable for you in no time!

By the way, this is my first post in months - thank you for breaking my streak :L

Definitely no need to stress! Can you pull it back when flaccid? or is it just when your hard that you can't? Don't try to rush it either, it usually takes a bit of time for the skin to stretch. I would try slowly pulling it back each time you shower, but not too far that it hurts. Also maybe use soap to soften the skin and make it easier to stretch, that's what I did and it seemed to work anyway :)

Forced retraction (ie: pulling it back so it hurts or causes discomfort) is a terrible idea and one to be avoided. The warm bath is a good idea.

I'd see a doctor. In some cases, it can take as long as 18 years to retract naturally. Since erections don't hurt, it could be normal.

Do you have any brothers? How old are they? If they're older, when did theirs fully retract? If they're younger, how far do theirs currently retract?

Thanks everyone, I'm going to wait until I'm 18 and then worry about it. It's not like I'm sexually active anyway so it doesn't matter...

See this page from the UK NHS Choices website (http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/phimosis/Pages/Introduction.aspx) which says that a tight foreskin does not necessarily need treatment unless it is causing problems with either the foreskin or the head getting sore and inflamed.

...It's not like I'm sexually active anyway so it doesn't matter...

I have seen a guy in porn fuck, with a condom on, and then finish by hand all without his foreskin appearing to retract more than a mm or two from the head when fully erect. This re-inforces the message that you don't have to do anything unless it a) doesn't sort itself out, and b) causes you some actual rather than potential problem.

You might just need to slowly retract it to the point where it hurts and NO MORE. If you did more it might cause damage. Do this everytime you have a shower, or bath, or even when going for a piss, and you should find it easier. I did this and now my foreskin is better

There are exercises you can do for that. Look it up online. I don't have any trouble retracting my foreskin, but it's not uncommon and usually just requires some exercises.

Do the slow stretching. The bath or shower is the best place to stretch. Slowly ease your foreskin back. If it starts to hurt stop. You need to do this a few times a day if you can. Don't hurt yourself. Take slow and little by little until you can pull it back all the way when erect. If you have major problems see your doctor. There are creams and ointments that can help. You can also Google foreskin stretching for information that is helpful. You will do fine man.

I have similar problem but don't wanna wait to 18. Getting laid isn't the only reason. I want to clean my foreskin too especially after a lot of sweat or chlorine. But i'm afraid to see a doctor and those other advice, the stretching doesn't work for me so far. A bath does help but takes longer and i can only do that at home. In public shower i struggle to clean it

Maybe i should get cut but again i'm afraid of the surgery

Dont worry about the surgery i think is one of the most common so it cant be so dangerous or so bad.im cut and very happy with it!

If it is the head of your penis that hurts, that is normal since it is hyper sensitive. However if it isn't that then you might have a case of phimosis. I have a slight case of phimosis, on my penis there is a small strip of skin the connects the head of me penis to my shaft and thus I can't fully retract it without it hurting a little. I've received certain antibiotics and prescriptions to try and help with loosening it and lessening the pain. I would just talk to your parents, yes it is awkward but they won't care since what they care about most is your health and well-being, and get them to set up a doctor's appointment for you. Phimosis if left untreated could really suck later down the road, since when you start having sex it'll hurt really badly. So just realize that your parents will not make fun of you, in fact they will probably have a lot of respect and appreciation for you being able to talk about that kind of thing with them and trusting them to take care of you.

Yes, I do have this problem. After years of struggling with it i finally told my dad. It was a very akward convo but it was worth it. I saw my doctor and Im getting circumcised in March. Almost no one in my family knows.

Do some internet research if you want to learn how to try to stretch your foreskin. I tried to do that but it didn't work for me. Good luck.
