around two years ago, I broke up with my girlfriend. We are still friends, and recently I have started to develop feelings for her again. We have both changed a lot in the last two years, should I ask her back out?

If you think it would work sure. I guess your friends that see you both would be the best people to ask.

Feel her out. See if she maybe feels the same way. It's a complicated question though, and I suppose it depends why you broke up and if you think maybe that reason has changed. No reason it can't work though, probably worth a shot??

Why did you break up the first time?

I guess if you like her a lot and want to date again then ask her out again.

My experience says you can't recapture what you had in the past. Be thankful you stayed friends and appreciate it for what it is.
If you broke up once, you already have a precedent for it to happen in the future.

You guy remained friends and thats a plus. The fact that you broke up in the first place is a minus. But if you can figure out what your differences and work though them as a couple you can succeed in a relationship . Communication is the key word in a relationship. In other words rekindle that old flame before it smolders. Again communication.

Hate to say it, but I agree with Taryn. All couples can go through rough periods, but once you break up you're already conceded that the relationship couldn't work, or that you weren't willing to at least work out your differences. That makes it difficult to reconnect and return same place you left.
