Hello! I'm 18 and when I retract my foreskin it goes behind the head but then starts to bunch up. I like to know how far it's ment to down the shaft and why it's doing this. Thanks

It is normal to bunch up behind the head. Your frenulum will stop your foreskin at some point from retracting back any further too. That is the little piece of skin attached to your foreskin and the underside of your penis right behind the head.

That's normal. You do want to pull it back just a little further, and you may find it goes back further on the top than the bottom, so the groove behind the head is exposed to wash there.

If you pull back the top more than the bottom you may be able to straighten the bunching but only for as long as you hold it and it doesn't really serve any purpose to do that.

The reason it may not go back any further at the bottom is because of the frenelum - where the foreskin is fixed to the head a bit like your tongue is fixed to the bottom of your mouth with a kind of "string".

When you're uncut it should actually bunch up a bit. Means that your foreskin isn't too tight which is a good thing.

But I would say if it is not uncomfortable then it is fine and normal.

as far as you can go lol. the only thing important is that the glans is compeltely uncovered, so you're fine ;)

It's absolutely normal for it to bunch up. You can pull it down a bit more but it's not supposed to peel all the way down, so you're fine

Just make sure you clean it when you use the restroom.
