That sort of scenario hasn't happened to me before, but I've experimented with other guys in the past and so have a lot of other guys, it's pretty normal I would say. If you're curious that way I would start off with a conversation about puberty and that sort of stuff see if he's comfortable, then ask him what you want. Before WWII it was common not to wear suits to swim at the YMCA, and my granddad says the high school his dad went to was all boys and had a pool where no one wore suits. He said where he grew up in the country there was a swimming hole at the river and all the local boys skinny dipped. No one would think of wearing a suit. Also his mother and sister would skinny dip sometimes if there was no one around.
