I'm so very sorry to hear that horrendous bad news. I lost my uncle at 30 years old and know what you and your family is going through. Cancer is a word that everyone dreads to hear. I wish i was there to give a friendly hug and to let you know that time will heal but will leave a scar. Hang tough and strong buddy for your dad he needs ya now. Any time you want to talk or vent i'm here.

Sorry to hear about your dad, man. Cancer is a rough thing. What I always tell people... all you can do is be thankful for the time that you have/had with him. No one lives forever. If we all lived forever, then life and memories wouldn't be special. It's the fact that they don't last forever that makes them special.
My dad has brain cancer, and I have talked with him quite a bit about him dying. He has had it for 12 years now, had two brain surgeries, two rounds of chemo, one round of radiation, and is thankfully still doing good. We have both agreed that there is nothing either of us can do to change it, and we won't let it effect our happiness.
If you dwell on it, let it depress you, etc. it won't fix anything-- it will only make things worse. Stay positive, and let me know if there is anything I can do to help! Here to give you any other thoughts/advice if you need.
Matt
