Hi all,
I live in Canada, and my girlfriend is in Spain. We had met online, about 4 years ago and have been dating since then. We have personally met a few times. Now, we want to start living together. She has finished her college, and is planning to do MBA. So, I suggested Canada, and is ready. And moreover, the course she wants to specialise in is available in the colleges here. But, I the issue is regarding the visa and citizenship. I think she could apply for the Canadian study permit, but I think there are a lot of formalities for it, and it can;t be guaranteed that you will get the visa. I have heard of this Canadian family sponsorship (http://www.maxberger.ca/immigration-services/permanent-residence/family-sponsorship/), I just know that Canadian citizens can sponsor relatives, but not sure about this. I wanted to know, if my gf can get visa under this, or should she be my wife?. We are not planning to get married, because she wants to complete her studies first. But, we both want to live together. What is the best option?? Please help.

That's a totally bad idea. I have heard of people doing that for money. They marry someone then after the person gets citizenship they divorce. That is not good to do.
