My best friend has had very heavy periods recently and her doctor has put her on birth control. However, I've always heard a rumor that birth control makes your breasts grow and she knows of the rumor and wants the, as she said, "Wanted side effect." So, what I'm asking is, did any of you encounter breast growth after being on the pill and by how much?

Meh, It happens but its only a temporary thing. Its because the hormones in birth control (Estrogen and Progestin) cause fluid retention so her boobs will swell up a little bit until her body gets used to the sudden fook off imbalance of hormones - but then again they also cause a fat ass and legs and possibly stretch marks, so if she wants bigger boobs she'll have to be prepared for the other side effects. After 4-5 cycles or as soon as she stops taking the pill , she'll pee a lot and her boobs will go back to normal size so tell her to be mindful that the change isn't permanant - but the stretch marks will be. Can't speak to that personally, but I've never heard of that.
