Hi, I'm a 17 year old boy and I've had a crush on this girl for a couple of months now. We've talked a couple of times, but we don't go to the same school (we're both gymnasts, and we go to the same gym). She's really nice, she's pretty, the list goes on and on. She's a year younger than me, however, and I am starting to look less...appealing as I start to go through puberty. We follow each other on social media, like each other's photos, and occasionally comment. She doesn't really show any major signs of liking me, although sometimes we will look at each other from across the gym and quickly look away. How can I approach her, maybe ask her out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, she hangs out with her friends a lot so it's hard to get a few minutes alone with her

When you're this young, a year between you guys makes no difference. And you don't look "less appealing" as puberty goes on. You look more and more like a man.
And as far as approaching her, just start a conversation before or after the gym and see if she seems interested. Btw don't just jump on the train and start dating and get excited at your "2 weeks strong mark" just for the hell of it.

I wouldn't worry about getting her alone yet buddy, maybe try joining their friendship group?:) Wish you luck & keep us updated!!!¬

You are 13 and she 12. She may not even be interested in boys yet. Frankly I think both of you are too young to date. Give yourself and the girl time to grow and mature more then date.
