Well, I've just shaved my pubes and they're starting to itch. What can I do to help this?

Baby powder or lotion. Next time make sure you use a fresh razor, good shaving cream and shave with the grain. Also the more often you do it the less it itches after a few days.

If you want to avoid a lot of irritation then just trim not shave.
To shave without irritation:
- Soak where ever your shaving with warm water
- Exfoliate the area
- Use shaving cream
- Soak again with warm water
- Apply a aftershave

Like said use powder or lotion. I don't understand why guys want to shave anyway. Unless you are a swimmer and wear a bikini suit I would just trim.

Lol I agree. Shaving my face is enough work. Plus I'm prone to ingrown hairs. Try trimming them short instead OP

You can also try moisturizing cream as well, that might help. I remember the first time I shaved there it was extremely itchy but once or if you do it with greater regularity you will get used to it and won't itch so much anymore.

agreed! i dont understand why guys want to shave after getting pubes. Pretty much everyone was waiting to get their first pubes so they didnt look so prepubescent then they finally get hair and shave it all off! trimming them short is a nice fix.

A nice soothing lotion from your local chemist is my guess

This is all true. Some say that soaking after with cold water instead of hot will close your pores and help to keep your skin healthy/less itchy. Also make sure you keep everything clean.

Best to trim. But like others have said use lotion or some powder.
