So I was wondering about the chat

About if it's possible to use it on a tablet like an ipad. Because it opens up with this mobile interface and it's like "ooh sign in" but then it says the account can't use the mobile platform. And it has an empty space for what room to put in so what the fuck do I put in there.

Or is this just impossible, and I'm going to be taunted by the chat room until something happens.

YOu cannot use the chat on a mobile device. The VT staff have not paid for the mobile version. So just use it on a computer

I'll quote myself from this (www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=188523) thread -
there is no way to use chat on mobile devices, and there won't be, for cost reasons as well as people abusing it, and using it to find people to do inappropriate things with. Also, coming from someone who has spent quite a fair amount of time in the chat room, I can assure you that 95% of the time, there are so many users that anyone on a mobile device would not be able to keep up, and it'd be laggy and likely battery draining.

The things said above me here are also true. So basically, even if it was free/included, we likely would not have mobile chat enabled.
