View Full Version : Should I tell her?
WhoWhatWhen

Yesturday, I went to a close friends house to help her bleach and dye her hair. As I was bleaching her hair I noticed a bug. Lice. But not just a few. There was quite a lot. I continued bleaching her hair and didn't say anything as I tried to kill as many as possible with the bleach.
I finished her hair without saying anything (which btw I did a fantastic job). But now I'm debating on telling her because I am pretty sure she doesn't know.
I know if I told her I wouldn't loose her as a friend or anything, I just don't want to embarrass her.
What should I do?

Tell her, if it's a problem she needs to know. If a friend told me that I wouldn't be offended. I've never had lice but I'm wondering how she didn't already know cuz I've heard they itch like crazy.

Tell her, the problem will only get worse the more time goes on.
Also make sure you didn't take any home with you because they can cling to your clothes and stuff.
Also there have been reports in the news that the lice that are around now are immune to many of the over-the-counter chemical products to get rid of them.
So this might require her to go to a doctor to get something stronger.

I agree, a good friend should be able to tell a good friend this. It's kinda gross but also kinda comin to. Nobody want or getting worse or spreading
Just be a good friend

Just open up and what actually happened than losing that friend . You should be true to your or any kind of relationship that you are in. Or else there would chances that you will be in trouble and they criticise you in the end.

I would even go so far as to say a good friend would risk the friendship, if an action is in the other friend's best interests, even if they don't realize it at the time. (But I acknowledge many disagree with me here and I do sound overzealous on this point).

I'd tell her if it was me, because personally if it was the other way round I'd want someone to tell me.

You need to tell her so she can get rid of them and not spread them to others.
