Sometimes while I'm masturbating, my body will inexplicably start shivering, and my shoulders and chest will begin to turn a patchy red color. Is it normal for this to happen?

Does it happen when you're cold?

I normally don't post in p101 but this peaked my interest and it feels like a real concern.

Are these red patches warm to touch?

Do you feel cold when you experience this?

Do you experience this when doing other intense exercise?

As long as it goes away, I think it's normal. When I'm really ahem turned on ahem I sneeze. That's right, I have one good sneeze. Then that's it. I think maybe some of us have little short circuits in our brain, and when we are stimulating, it makes us go wierd.

Think this is pretty normal, probably has to do with blood flow and circulation is my guess. But if your really worried about it I'd ask your doctor tbh.

I do shiver when I'm cold but I normally do not get the red splotches like stated previously.

I haven't really touched it, so idk. But it makes my body feel warm though

No not really, and it only happens sometimes while I masturbate, most of the time it does not occur

It sounds wrong buddy, I'd go see a doctor. I suspect it is not sex related though :) I wouldn't worry but I'd check it out at the doctors :)

I think I found someone else online that has a similar problem. Youre right that its not sex related, he gets it when he gets anxious or excited like with me. Idk what it is still but it doesnt seem to cause him any problems other than itchiness. I may still visit a doctor just to be on the safe side.

Yeah I honestly don't think it is anything but it is better to be safe than sorry!! It could be the sign of a nasty blood condition! Keep us updated!!:)

These flushes could be normal I think. I think the shivering could be due to the intense feelings- yanno like when you pee sometimes and you get shivers? If it worries you, research it a bit more, and go to doctors if it's really concerning you

Thanks for all the help y'all. Someone PM'd me though informing that it was normal, apparently it just comes as a result of your heart rate increasing. I feel better now that it is not a serious problem most likely, thanks again though everyone for trying to help :)

I don't know about the shivers but the red splotches sound like a sex flush. It's similar to blushing with the same cause. If that is the explanation they will return to normal gate you cum or if you let your arousal subside.

I think it comes from your body being stimulated and excited. You are stimulated and sexually excited during masturbation. I sometimes shiver or convulse some during and after an orgasm.
