Boxer briefs

Unfortunately, I don't buy my own underwear (I wear briefs during dayitme and boxers), and I want boxer briefs. How can I ask my parents to get boxer briefs instead of briefs next time they buy me underwear without it being awkward? (what would I say if they asked me why). And what brand would you recommend that could be found in a store like Target? :)

You will eventually get to the point where you do buy your own clothes. Perhaps you could ask to go to the mall with some friends and go shopping?

I just go shopping with mum and pick the ones i want. I dont let her influence my decision.

Maybe next time you are in Target with your mom whether to buy underwear or even if you're not there for that reason, you can try telling her something along the lines of "Hey mom I was wondering, I want to try boxer briefs this time, I think I may like them more, can I get those " or "I want to try boxer briefs to see what they are like" or "can I try boxer briefs this time?"
Well you get the picture, something like that basically. At least that's how I would go about doing this if I were in your place. I'm sure your parents wouldn't object to it at all if you just ask or show your interest in a type of underwear that's different from what you normally use.

Hanes and Fruit of the Loom are pretty affordable brands. If you're into luxury, then there are brands like Calvin Klein but I don't think Target carries that.

well you can buy your own or you can simply say, "hey mom, instead of buying me briefs, will you pick me up some boxer briefs? I want to try them for support and how they look on me."

It should be no big deal really. Just tell your mom or dad that you would like boxer brief underwear next time you need some. I think that they will understand. I wear Hanes boxer briefs myself and really like them.

Just ask. I did and it worked. I suggest the Hanes X-Temp. The ones that are like under armour. They are hold things but don't squeeze like compression shorts.

You can just tell them you want to try something new or that the type of underwear you have feels uncomfortable. Brand types will vary a lot but I personally recommend Calvin Klein.

you are totally overthinking this, just say you want to try them, and if you are thletic say ou might want them for that

Hmm, just say something along the lines of "Hey mom, I was wondering if we could look into buying some more comfortable underwear. I feel like I could use something with more support and comfort?" and there's not much to say no about. Your mom is probably not gonna like, say "No, your balls just gotta be squished together and you must die of discomfort!", but do be conscious of pricing, as underwear can get expensive quickly.

I think what I'll do is casually bring it up that I need new underpants this weekend, when I know I'll be able to go to the store with mom and pick the ones I specifically want.

Same thing recently happened to me, my old boxers don't fit and I felt it would be weird to talk to my parents about it so what I did is basically when we went into town just go like OH I just remembered I need new underwear. I went into marks and Spencer's and bought a pair of the Autograph Boxer series. Hope this helps

hey just say mum/dad I want boxer briefs the boxers ride up giving wedgies and briefs are for little boys tell them. and all my friends wear bower briefs

Go shopping with them and say you need new underwear and pick up a pair of boxer briefs you like. They may question you but just say you like them and that's what you want etc

Talk about it with your parents the same way you would if you were talking about buying a different style shirt. Its for your own comfort. The longer you procrastinate the longer you will be stuck in your current underwear.
