Making Friends in College?

I'm a freshman starting at a community college and I don't know anyone there and there's so many people and no one is in more than one of my classes. Like I used to naturally make friends with people who I had math and science with because they were with me in both classes but that's not the case in college and I'm terrible at making friends anyways. There are some kids I see sitting alone during breaks between classes and i'd like to talk to them but I don't know how to start a conversation. Please help lmao

I'm horrible at starting conversations :lol: My advice would be to not overthink it. Just walk up to them and say hey, I'm _____, how's it going? and go from there :)

No problem! It is hard at first. But they might be just as nervous as you, and would probably be happy you made the first move. Good luck!
