Okay so there have been rumours and screenshots of Facebook convos saying there will be a terror attack, that the person sending it works at the US embassy and that they advised their staff to steer clear of public areas due to a possible terror attack in the second half of August. They mention the primary target being the Belgrade Beer Fest. That is an extremely bad idea because there are cops everywhere. Not just regular ones, the Gendarmerie is regularly deployed. A much better alternative for the terrorists would be to shoot up the Ušće shoping mall which is like 100 meters away from the festival. Still, I will be going because these are unconfirmed rumors and the person spreading them made no effort to prove it. Still, having evidence of a crime about to be commited or a chance of it being commited must be by law told to the police. Also the fact that they spy on us and did nothing means that this is a false alarm.

To not go, is letting terrorism win

If you listen to threats like this, you are doing what they want you to do: change your way of life and be in fear of them

We get threats every few weeks or so, but the people here have grown resilient to that shit considering a rather large (unfortunately) chunk of the population has been directly or indirectly affected by all the terrorism. We just continue to live our lives despite all the trouble, and I'd much rather spend my days doing something meaningful or fun, than be scared into staying home hiding under my bed cause some fucktards are out to get us or something.

Nobody here cares about terrorism. I would not be surprised if civilians tackled the attackers before they could do any serious harm.

If you listen to threats like this, you are doing what they want you to do: change your way of life and be in fear of them

And I say I'm gonna go get drunk, I don't care if I get shot.

Sounds like the supposed Oktoberfest attacks, why do people need to scare people from drinking. With the amount of alcohol intake some of those people drink at these events they probably won't be alive much longer of their own accord. Unless ISIS starts saying they were behind all the liver failures in Europe now all of a sudden.

Well over here and in France it happens rather frequently, few days ago we had 2 'bombs' on 2 different aircraft from Brussels airlines (nothing found). Prevented attacks here and there etc. What's bad is the fact people are getting used to this.

So do you believe that EVERY refugee is a terrorist or a bad person?

This is a yes or no question with a yes or no answer, dob't avoid it.

If yes you do realise that allot of the refugees are actually willing to adapt to the country they are in and are willing to learn the language and get a job right? These people don't want to be here either but atleast they know they should behave.

If you were forced to flee because of war (but you obviously never looked at this situation from a different persoective other than your own) would you like being seen as a plague? A pest? A terrorist? A criminal who is hated? Well no.

I was talking about the massive immigration through the decades.
You might see that the Kouachi,Abdeslam whatsoever aren't recent "muh, poor innocent war fleeing refugees",but from second or third generation of immigrants.

PS : I am pretty sure, you hypocrite, are housing some of those good refugees in your house. Of course not.

I think your right to a degree. Yeah, nobody wants to leave their home country and flee for their lives and leave everything behind, that's aweful. But also on the other side it's a double edge sword. It's about security, knowing who's recalling coming into the country. There needs to be a way to make the boundaries secure. Unfortunately, it's like in the meantime, people may die.
What else can people do? Everyone afraid of it

Exocet im pretty sure there's enough hypocracy to share amongst every country or government in some way.

He is a hypocrite for not housing foreigners you say. He didn't mention taking them into his house, he just said to be kind to them. IF he was being cruel and mean to the refugees, then you could call him 'hypocrite'.

Also stop being all "muh, poor innocent war fleeing refugees". Those 2 men planned attacks in both Paris and Brussels and there is no way to justify their actions, stop acting like I do.

Also your use of 'good refugee' just shows your hatred towards these people. How are you any better than them? Stop acting like the superior human just because these people are different from you.

I would still like an answer to my question though.

Porpoise101 Said it. I didn't mention taking them into my house nor should you claim I did. I'm not being the hypocrit since I actually respect these refugees, and Muslims in general like any human being that also respects me.

What I wanted to say is that there are a lot of hypocrites in here. They say "we must welcome them, help them, they are fleeing bla bla",but aren't directly helping them or housing them.

I know I am being very late in responding to this, nevertheless it's something noticeable (least to me) that possible reports of terror attacks in the US would come up on world news wayy faster than possible reports of terror attacks here in Belgrade (so much so that I have not heard of this news at all till here).

As almost all of us are teenagers, it's quite the request for parents ask that refugees stay at their house.

Now if we all owned our own properties and were at ease with managing the place, then it would be a different story.
