The next will be Thursday, and this downtime will be more significant, perhaps lasting most of the day. We will do our very best to be efficient, but there are a lot of changes that need to occur all at once, and as a result, sometimes these updates and changes take a while. Of course, there's always a chance that these updates will complete more quickly than expected, but to be safe, expect the forums will be down for the entire day. You might see the "maintenance" message if you check in, you might see a default server configuration message, or you might see nothing at all. All of these are normal and to be expected, and everything will be restored as it was right before the downtime. If you have any questions about it, feel free to shoot me a PM.

We will post another announcement tomorrow to confirm the exact time.

In confirmation, the forums will be down in about 8-9 hours from the time of this post, and as mentioned, the downtime is expected to last the entire day. If, for whatever reason, it lasts longer than this, rest assured we have reached out to the necessary support channels (be it VT or server-related) and are working to restore the site as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you have any questions for us during this downtime or about the downtime, you can send a message to [email protected] (or any of the staff's personal emails, but the admins will have the most current knowledge of the update's progress) and we will attempt to answer any of your questions.

As you can see, the forums have been restored and (for most of you) it's on time! As I wrote in the announcement, however, I have not tested every function of the site, so if you notice something not working how it should or how it used to, PM me and I'll do what I can to check on it in the coming hours. Welcome back!
