recently my gf said that she got Syphilis. she said for me to go get checked..i know i dont have Syphilis(well beofre she might hae given it to me). i think she was cheating and got it. how do i figure out she was actually cheating?

Some STIs can be in a persona for over a year before they develop and are noticeable so it is possible she hasn't been cheating however I 100% agree with Uranus

Well first of all get yourself checked...you can't know whether you have the STD or not otherwise as it starts rather harmless but has to be treated asap.
You won't know whether your girlfriend has cheated on you apart from asking her maybe.
If she knew about her STD and had unprotected sex with you thats very irresponsible.

She either had it before you started dating and didn't tell you before having sex or she just got it and just found out. Either way that's messed up. Chances are she cheated tho...with a gross person.

I agree here with Ty. She may have had it even before she dated you. Syphilis doesn't necessarily so any signs for quite some time so it would be hard to tell.

I would still break up with her. No matter how good the sex is, it's not worth an STI or STD.
