Poem about my Father and Me

TRIGGER WARNING
============

I stand in my room with a quivering hand

"Open this door!!" The rudely demand

I can't even begin to explain the pain

It burned my wrists like acid rain

I hold the flame beneath my wrist

In attempt not to scream I create a fist

My parents burst into my room ready to yell

But I've already found my way out of hell

The burning sensation is now long gone

As is my heart, and it's drum beating song

My parents just stare then walk out and cry

How was I to know I'd fracture their pride

I always believed it when the called me a fag

Or when my father tossed me around like a rag

And now I can see how much they hurt

But they don't see how they'd treat me like dirt

I'd not let them know it

They think it's not there fault

I hope one gets locked up in a boiling vault

And the other gets sent to the burning realm

And that Satan himself doesn't let his powers underwhelm

Because I've witnessed in person what he can do

I just hope they die in a cruel way too.

I think it's more about your writing ability personally. Not everyone can express themselves that way. The themes are sad though. But still a good way to get your thoughts out of your head.
