Okay, so, I've been having some problems at school for the past 1 and a half years and I've finally decided to do something about it. My parents know what's been going on and they have finally taken action because I said so. Basically, I want to switch classes for certain reasons and the director of my school won't really allow it. He said that I have to learn to cope with this. But I have been trying to cope with this for almost 2 years! Now, I want to write a formal letter to him telling him what's really been going on inside my class and the many reasons why I want to change classes. I'll be formal and polite. My question is whether or not I should do it. Just type a quick "yes" or " no" if you're too lazy to give a reason :p

Thanks

I think it's worth a shot. Not like you have much to lose by doing it and striking out.

Yes you should. Your time at school is important - write a letter and consider sending copies to other school staff - admin or school board etc.

But if you have already asked to move classes why did you not make things clear at the start.

Sounds like a good idea worth a shot.
Be sure to have someone proof read it before sending it.

Your time at school should be one of the best times of your life so if you're not enjoying it for whatever reason something somewhere needs to change.

Do it if you think it's best.

I would definitely send it, because school is quite important and one of the best times in your life. Make sure you get to enjoy it (but don't forget to hate it as well)

Do it if you haven't already because my parents were quite involved in my school closer to the end too when I started to have problems so I know it can sometimes help. Although the one time I actually tried to switch classes I asked for me and a friend to because we were both finding top set maths hard and wanted to go down into a lower set, it backfired because he got moved and I didn't although I was fighting for BOTH of us. This is a warning that what your trying to do might not work but then again I wasn't getting my parents involved in that point. This was just me myself sending emails back and forward to the previous director of the school's additional learning support team, who I was involved with for my whole time there XD
